Recently graduated as a vet :). Animals are my passion, my joy and some of them are my very good friends (they´re actually pretty good listeners when you need to get things out of our system :D).

I dedicate most of my time to studying but in the free time I like to experience new things, get myself into new situations and just break the comfort zone a little bit :). A few years ago I discovered the beauty of meeting new people - you never know what you learn next and everybody has something interesting to say.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find staying in a hotel, hostel or some other accommodation facility a bit sterile and impersonal - when you´re travelling to a foreign country, learning about people´s lifestyle is a huge part of learning about the country.

Interests

My biggest passion is horses. I own one Norwegian fjord horse and she´s my best animal friend. Before going to the veterinary university, I used to compete in show jumping and few times in dressage, but I kind of had to give it up. But hey, someday I shall return to that :)! Now it´s just going for a walk with my horse when I´m back home from work.

I also love music - listening, making some. I used to play in the first violin section in a symphonic orchestra and just at home I play the piano. When nobody is around I'm trying to learn guitar, but there is no time to practice, so it's a long road ahead :D.

And when my eyes aren´t completely exhausted from reading stuff for school, I like to read, anything else :D. Medical thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi, alternative medicine, spiritual stuff dealing mainly with eastern world..

Music, Movies, and Books

Throughout the years I grew very fond of classical music - love to listen to Bach, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and others. When I´m feeling calm and peaceful I like to listen to Czech and foreign folk, country, 60'-70's. Film music is always a pleasure - Morriconne, Zimmer, Shore, Mansell. When in the mood, some symphonic metal - love Nightwish. Rammstein is also great.

Books - Harry Potter is my guilty pleasure book. Lord of the Rings is the book I most adore, J.R.R. Tolkien was a genius. Love to read Osho's pieces. And more books are waiting for me to find them and discover their secret.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Australia couple of years ago, which started a bit spontaineously, but turned out to be the best month of my life - connecting awesome people, amazing work, horses and of course - Australia. So far this is the best thing that has ever happened to me, since it lead to so many more awesome adventures :).

Everything I know I offer to share with other people. And when it comes to new experience and new things to learn, I push myself to be like a sponge ;).
