developing our organic farm in northern ohio and starting a family

ABOUT ME

i grew up in western new jersey, went to school in central PA,and moved to san francisco where i learned to love riding my bike and met all sorts of cool people who challenged me and expanded my way of thinking. next i hitch-hiked the country, bought a 1-way ticket to south america, returned one year later via land then moved to nyc for two years. feeling overwhelmed, I picked up and traveled the usa again working on a bunch of different organic farms. currently i am starting an organic farm on land that is part of my husband's family's holding. adding new use to a long family history. We are also starting a family, building a house, fighting invasive species, cultivating love and a strong marriage and trying to stay sane. during the winters i like to go on adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

to live until the day i die. to fight to change the way we live, but not to judge. to have fun and go on adventures with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have both surfed and hosted through couchsurfing. I am currently loving hosting as a way to invite adventure into my home since I have not traveled much in the past couple of years. As i put more roots down, I imagine couchsurfing will connect me to the world of traveling, allowing me to vicariously experience the world through my surfers eyes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have bussed, trained, biked and hitch-hiked all over the world and slept in all sorts of strange and interesting places. in addition to couches i have slept on floors, roofs, backyards, the back of pick-ups, and under bridges.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have swum with a whale shark (close enough to touch!) in the carribean.
