See as much of the world as possible while meeting lots of different people. Not too creative but it's what I honestly want to do :D

ABOUT ME

I'm 20 years old and currently in my third year of university. I study primarily at McMaster University in Canada, but I'm participating in a semester abroad at the University of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. I love travelling and plan to fit as much travel as possible into the short time I am in the UK. I'm very openminded and love meeting all different kinds of people. I'm usually open to trying anything at least once!

PHILOSOPHY

I would describe myself as an opportunist. I want to look back on my life one day and know that I truly took every opportunity I had, and had a great time doing it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently living in student accommodation in Leeds, England, and am unable to host travellers right now. My participation is currently limited to surfing the couches of others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet but I've heard good testimonials from friends and fellow travellers and I'm looking forward to trying it out for myself!

I like most music that I hear, it's very rare that I hear a song I don't like.
I love comedies, rom-coms, documentaries, historical fiction, drama, and some foreign film. The only type of movies I don't like are horror films, I'm too much of a chicken!
I like reading books of similar genres, and also enjoy reading non fiction books and articles about current issues and arguments.

Participated in a foreign exchange to France when I was 16. I lived with a host family and gained a better understanding of the lifestyle and culture.

My area of education is primarily in theatre, and I make a great companion for seeing plays and films, and I think I will have a different perspective than others may have. I also speak intermediate level French and would love the opportunity to practice my language skills with other travellers. I'm also developing an interest in working in travel and tourism, and I would love to learn about other's experiences in this field.
