About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find harmony and balance in life; happiness not bound to place or time
ABOUT ME
I try to be as open to the world as possible and live in balance with my surroundings. I am used to doing many things at the same time, i am very energetic and optimistic. For me, travelling is an ideal state of mind, although now that I'm growing older it seems more difficult to get on the move every time. I want my life to be spontaneous and full of surprises, rich in emotions. Live large ! Every day can be an adventure, but sometimes the best thing to do is to kick back, stay indoors with a close friend and drink tea, listen to nina simone and share secrets.
PHILOSOPHY
GRAVIDAD ... and optimism.! i tend not to believe in coincidences but the effect of the universal energies in our everyday encounters. when you're open and go with the flow, things go as they should be. impulsiveness and spontaneity are the basis of my life philosophy ... and the omnipresence of change.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been active with CS for quite a few years now. I started by meeting locals in Russia, then surfed on my hitch-hike trip via Baltica in 2009 and became a host once I'd settled in Glasgow. The story continues... via Glasgow to Russia and the Balkans and now Poland..! ars longa vita longa !
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i love meeting random CS-ers in everyday life. all my CS experiences have been positive ones, some of the people i've met during the years have become really close and dear for me. :)
Interests
i generally get easily excited about things. i love art: music (cello and fiddle!), dance, literature etc. i'm also interested in different cultures and languages, history, and above all: people. They are my primary source of energy. i love rainy days, tea houses, staying up all night, absurdities, details, Poland, good conversations... Really, i only realised how very fond i am of language when i spent a month travelling in china without a word of chinese (ok, ok, i'm studying it now)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
gallivanting around the balkans in 2011, every day going to bed with my mind buzzing from all the things i had seen and learnt that day ... there is such a thing called pure happiness ! (and i was also fairly proud of myself after i finished reading my first ever novel in russian)
Teach, Learn, Share
i am more than likely to rant about one of the things close to my heart: tea, Central & East Europe, atonal music, improvisation, linguistic twists, ... and it's always better to have someone to go on a rant with :)
