Interests
I am always curious about new experiences , especially in a new place. This attitude has led me to midnight solo hikes, photographing shamanic rituals, meeting remote tribes, climbing volcanoes, interacting with orangutans, riding on top of buses and trains, getting lost in many places and of course, meeting very many interesting people. Backpacking means I find myself often traveling for long hours , which gives me time to catch up on reading and having random philosophical or geopolitical arguments often with myself or with some hapless companion . I hoard a lot of information (often useless). And of late, I have developed an interest in photographing local traditional or tribal festivals in Asia.
