ABOUT ME

I am a born and raised girl from Melbourne Australia, who decided one day back in December 2010 to leave everything that was comfortable, safe and perfect and jump ship, move 9 hours across the world to Shenzhen, China to live and work with no friends or family. Although, I have traveled, living on my own in a city where no one speaks my language and me theirs proved to be a scary but exciting experience which I loved, so much so that I decided to continue on living here. How long you ask? Well I havent decided yet....

Overall, I consider myself to be friendly, extremely easy going, always up to party, a dance, a coffee or a drink. I love sport and will watch anything even if I don't know the rules. But am always willing to learn them.

I am keen to travel as much as possible and meet as many people along the way. I get great enjoyment from meeting new people (although I might seem shy at first unless I have had a couple of drinks, then I am everyone's best friend).

Although I am very new here, I am available to host, or meet up for a drink and I plan to travel. I like to attend events (when I remember to log on to read the digest..)

I love all kinds of music, especially live music. One of my favourite things to do in Melbourne is go to a live gig. I listen to everything from rock to dance and classical - and I love it if you can introduce me to a new band from your part of the world!

As for movies, basically anything that will make me laugh goes down with me. Im not a huge fan of horror movies with tons of blood and gore, but a good drama/thriller where I have to really think gets my mind going and keeps me interested.

As for books, trashy fiction novels, the harry potter series and any kind of photographic based book with really stunning images are my favs.
