COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having informally couch surfed and hosted for years, I finally made it official in Greece (with the incomparable Georgios & Magalie) and haven't looked back. Panama City with Victoria (the hostess with the mostest) and Cameron was fabulous, and had an amazing time in South Africa and India, with special shout outs to the Queens of MFing (ask them) Clair and Divya in Cape Town and the inimitable Sharma family in Delhi. Now that I have a flat in the best location in DC, I'm passing on the hospitality -- and now with Britt you get two hosts for the price of one!

Angkor Wat was uh-mayzing; the Northern Lights over Loch Lomond; Diving with whale sharks & night-diving through bioluminescence ; Swimming with friends in the Guatemalan jungle & caves; exploring Koh Panyi floating village after dusk; Motorbiking around Chang Mai (and Nafplio); Magical Monemvasia & Vonderful Vondelpark; spending a stormy night on the street in St. Malo, Island hopping in San Blas, waking to the sound of howling hyenas in Kruger Park, hiking the Drakensburg, Diwali in Varanasi, and navigating the insane Pushkar Camel Fair
