About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn more about myself, the world and all of its inhabitants.
ABOUT ME
I'm a laid-back PhD student who studies evolutionary biology. I'm pretty much nice to everyone, I love the outdoors, traveling, food, soccer (futbol), long hikes, deserted places and talking about anything. I'm not very good at personal statements, but I have many interests and am fascinated by the Earth in all aspects.
PHILOSOPHY
Just go with the flow and enjoy the scenery.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host when I can, I meet up with people and show them around my city, I try to surf when travelling, but mostly I just meet random people who have surfed and loved it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I asked a biologist in Las Vegas if I could stay with her and told her that I was coming out there because I got a job with this company. It turned out she was in the same line of work and even knew my boss. Unfortunately, he is the king of asshole bosses. Without thinking twice, she put me up at her place for over a month, and got me a job at her company within two days of my move. Five weeks after 35 people were hired by the company I was supposed to work for (I would have been one of those 35), they were all laid off because the boss had hired too many people. Thanks almost 100% to her and couchsurfing, I have a job, a place to stay and a group of great friends out in a strange city. I pretty much owe my life in Las Vegas to CouchSurfing and my good friend Marija.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done lots of interesting things --- worked in the rainforest of West Africa, got chased by elephants at night in a forest in Thailand, been above the Arctic Circle, found a snake that hadn't been documented in almost 70 years in Vietnam, eaten many strange fruits and foods, called Las Vegas home, stayed in a floating village on the Tonle Sap lake -- just ask for a story and I'd be glad to share more!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know the most random stuff ever. ...Or so I'm told. I really think all of it is completely useful and interesting.
Everyone has a story to tell, you just have to listen.
