Hi!

Im Christopher from Vienna, Austria. Im participating in CS since 2010 and its one of the best things. Through CS i've met so many awesome people and im still in contact with a lot of them. It definitely was the biggest help while i was traveling the world and i hope that i can give back some of the hospitality that so many people gave to me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've slept on couches in a couple of places in Europe, America, South Africa and Asia and i've also hosted people from those Continents. Im still in contact with many of them and sometimes i meet them again somewhere on this beautiful planet.

Im also interested in the stories people have to tell. See their everyday life and hear stories about their neighborhood. I want to get the feeling of living in the City not just visiting it.

Interests

Music is the main pillar of my life. I am always looking for good places for music when i arrive in a new city. I like hanging out at Jazz or Blues bars and listen to local artists. I always stop by street artists and listen to what they have to say.

Arts. Paintings, Photographs, Videos. For me having a Camera in my Hand is a Way to express myself. I started making small videos when i was 8 years old. I remember getting a used camera from my grandpa on christmas. and since then i knew i want to do this for a living. and i did.

Riding my bike. Back in vienna i ride my bike everyday. I bought it in a very bad condition. It was rusty and full of dust. So i decided to clean it buy new parts et voila i gave it a second life and now it runs like a charm again! So if you ever stay at my place expect a city tour on bike!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a vast variety of music styles. Currently i really like listening to live blues or jazz bands. I also like african influenced rock musicians. For example Tinariwen or Bombino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a spontaneus trip to brazil and argentinia because a friend of mine couldnt do it and had one of my best times so far. I also did a car trip to croatia and had hitchhikers from all over the world. Some of them already visited me in vienna.

I also did a 8 Month all around the world trip. It was such an amazing experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like playing Guitar. So if you have one in your house we could jam out!! also some basic swing dance and a few bad german words!
