About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish that chocolate bar i found in my flatmates room.

ABOUT ME

I was at Stansted Airport (London) where I was supposed to change flights from Denmark to Estonia and was holding a ticket back to Tallinn in my hands and knowing that I have £5 in my pocket, I heard from the speakers calling my name and saying that it's the final call for boarding.
I was just standing still and thinking, yep - I'm not going on this flight, I'm just staying!

That's what I like to do, make spontaneous decisions and live my life, not worrying too much.

---

Right now I live in Okinawa, Japan. My husband is a PhD student at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, and I'm part time English teacher, part time kindergarten teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm curious to know what's going to happen tomorrow.

And I couldn't agree more with the saying: Let the world be your classroom, the people you meet, your teachers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Help people lost in my neighbourhood.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had good experiences in couchsurfing, I find it the best way to explore the areas you're staying at, and of course meet people, and make some really good friends.

Interests

A few years ago I fell in love with rock climbing and it has been my passion ever since. With rock climbing, often also comes slack-lining. Yes, I occasionally do that as well. While living in Okinawa, I've also started snorkelling. Now, anywhere I go, I have my climbing shoes and a mask with me.

Before I found my active hobbies, I used to love theatre and classical music. I used to sing in a choir and did a lot of acting. I still apreciate those arts, but my heart will always belong to climbing.
