Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couch surfed myself only once so far (back in 2007) and then indirectly hosted many couch surfers over the years while living with other people. Now I'm finally (in 2015) living in a home where I can host others myself. I've always liked the idea of things like this that are built around mutual exchange and relationships.
