ABOUT ME

I'm a curious and adventurous person. I enjoy just about anything. Seldom ever bored. I'm also quite the animal lover.
I always choose to believe the best in people. Sometimes I get fooled, but I still try to keep the faith. I try to improve my surroundings, and try to be helpful to others. I enjoy listening to other people's story. We all have interesting lives! It's fun to share.
I'm semi-retired and am enjoying fewer commitments. I hope to do much more traveling in the years to come and I think Couchsurfing is an adventurous way to meet new acquaintances.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I feel Couchsurfing makes the world smaller and more intimate. I strongly believe the Couchsurfing platform promotes the idea that "people are good and kind" I don't want to live in fear of the unknown, I want to embrace it. I've read a lot of reviews and from my own travels and interactions it seem Couchsurfing is more of an experience than a solitary stay in a hotel. It's lively and interesting.
I've stayed with some great folks in Gloucester Massachusetts. They were very adventurous Couchsurfers themselves. They just arrived home from a month of Couchsurfing in France.

We are retired and live on the river and enjoy taking care of the all the critters that live in our ravine and the vegetation surrounding it. I love to travel and meet people, share stories and make new friends. One of the best parts of travel is all the new food discoveries. I want to fill my basket with memories, sights, discoveries, new flavors, adventures and friendly people.

I love a beautiful voice so I would say Barbara Streisand, Adele, Josh Groban, Pharrell Williams, Aretha Franklin, Ed Sheeran are great to listen to.
Sshawshank Redemption is one of my favorite movies.
