Overview
About Me
I'm a Vietnamese girl that loves cooking, baking, reading, photography, nature, traveling, old school things and meeting new people.
Open-minded, curious, perceptive, caring, understanding, complex, creative, independent, deep, funny, picky... are adjectives that people use to describe me. I would love to see what you can add to the list.
I'd like to think of myself as an ordinary girl. It takes time to find something special in someone, I believe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel to learn and to feel. I want to fully immerse myself in new cultures, new places through meeting new people and making new friends. I think that's the best way to travel. I also want to see things from many different perspectives and enhance my knowledge about life and the world.
Interests
Cooking - I can cook anything, if I don't know the recipe, I will just search and make it,and it tastes good as always.

Music, Movies, and Books
For music, I don't care too much about the genre, as long as it pleases my ears. However, my favorite is from Vivaldi, John Williams and Yo-Yo Ma. Post-rock and classical inspired rock is amazing.
Movies: I like the ones with philosophical moments that make me think about life and people in general. Forrest Gump, Se7en, American Beauty, 3 Idiots, The Pianist, The Wolf of Wall Street, Shawshank Redemption, .... or some ridiculously funny movies that I just need to laugh and laugh without thinking :v
I like to watch TED talks also.
Books: Hard to pick some because I feel like they all enrich me in different ways
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make authentic Vietnamese dishes with simple and fresh ingredients. I can also teach you other Asian dishes too.
I want to learn more about your culture, your beliefs, how you perceive the world, what you have learned through out your life.
We can share our travel stories, people we met on the road, things that we ate and photos that we took or what make us who we are today.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook some good authentic Vietnamese dishes. Basically I can cook anything, especially Asian food.
If you'd like to know how living in Vietnam feels like, I can tell you a lot about that also.
