About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A thousand times falling, a thousand times getting back up. That's passion.

ABOUT ME

Do you know someone who needs hours alone every day? Who loves quiet conversations about feelings or ideas, and can give a dynamite presentation to a big audience, but seems awkward in groups and maladroit at small talk? Who has to be dragged to parties and then needs the rest of the day to recuperate? Who growls or scowls or grunts or winces when accosted with pleasantries by people who are just trying to be nice? I know, I'm an introvert.

FYI- Introversion is the most misunderstood issue, it has nothing to do with social skills ;)

"whimsical |ˈ(h)wimzikəl|
adjective
1 playfully quaint or fanciful, esp. in an appealing and amusing way.
2 acting or behaving in a capricious manner "

I think I define that word Whimsical.

I'm a mystery wrapped in an enigma, more than meets the eye, usually shy, unless you feed me too much alcohol, or when I am high on caffeine. Always devoted to disturbing the peace and ease in everyday life, I had too many close friends complaining they never know what I'm thinking and plotting next... In a good way ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Joy is a funny thing. If you seek it, you will never find it. Just like love it is not a destination, it is a journey. It does not waver like a mood or a good feeling. My happiness is found in your smile. To live like there's no tomorrow. To dance like no one's around. To sing like nobody's listening. To give like I have plenty. To love like I'm not afraid.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A very dear friend of mine asked me to check out couch surfing, knowing I will take over his record of visiting over 40 countries. :) visited 17 states (7.55%)Create your own visited map of The World

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience in couch surfing led me to understand a country from its people. And while I never believe in stereotypes, just conversing with people tells me that a country/culture does have an effect on what is acceptable. It's the authentic quality time I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is too complex for me to write out, as I have many interests.

Movies. I dunno.
A Goofy Movie
The Prince of Egypt
The Lion King. The Dark Knight.
Musicals like Sweeney Todd, Nine (love the music and dance)
Avatar?
Come on. I think Cliche is great, what else is new?

Music, too tough to decide but I am more into rock/metal. Used to like Nickelback, Within Temptation or Linkin Park. I love speaking in Italian, but music will go to the Spanish. Bigger market, and somehow there's more flow to singing in Spanish than Italian.

Books. Ahhh... At the moment I really don't want to face any having been reading over 50 journals in a short time. But i do love books. I'm more into action, thriller, not so much on chic flicks or romance novel, though the best one I have read should be "Simply Irresistible" as the name suggests it's simply is!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life itself is amazing.
August 2010, I remember lying on the grass and watch the stars move in the sky like fish in the sea.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything random I suppose. I have little skills in many little things. Like speaking English or Mandarin that I can help, while you can build up my Spanish and Italian.

I learn cooking when I started living alone, surprisingly I'm not a bad cook, so I can turn you into a chinese chef in 30 minutes.

Knowing that I am a foreigner in a foreign land, you know you can learn a lot of cultural diversity from me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vatican City State
