I grew up in Detroit Michigan, but always had the desire to travel and see other places and meet new people. I moved to NYC in 2005 to go to college and to see the world beyond my hometown. It was invigorating. I fell in love with people of all walks of life and music and food the idea that maybe I didn't know anything about my world. So I traveled on, after college I spent three years in Southern California as well as some time in Miami. Then in spring 2013 I decided to take the big leap and get out in the world. I moved to Germany and since then I have spent every waking moment trying to find new places to explore and people to meet.

I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people, keep up with old friends around the world, learn new tricks for traveling and hopefully do some couchsurfing. What better way to get to know people?

I think the most amazing thing I've ever done was to make a decision to not stay. To make the pictures on the computer screen and movies real places to myself. That is the closest thing I can imagine to making a dream a reality.
