Overview
About Me
I've been wanting to travel internationally for ages and am finally taking the leap! I am a pastry chef (currently a finish carpenter, random I know) during the week and amateur adventure seeker on the weekends. Whether it's finding a trail to hike, a museum to awe over, or a cafe to grab a plate at I like to think I'm game for just about anything wherever my feet end up taking me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a budget traveler and would like to get a first hand experience of each stop I visit from someone who really knows the area. I want avoid making my adventures all about the "touristy" stops along the way and instead get an experience of the town from a local's perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love country music, but like just about everything out there. I'm open to listening to just about anything and everything - especially if it's live! I worked at a movie rental store that housed over 20,000+ movies, so again I'm very open to just about anything out there. My bookshelf is littered with books from Haruki Murakami, Chuck Palahniuk, Stephen King, and a handful of Sci-Fi novels as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a one way ticket to Australia with no intentions of coming back (once I figure out the whole visa thing...)
Teach, Learn, Share
I spent the last 5 years of my life living at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado so I can recommend a hike or two that will take your breath away! Literally, hiking at 12,000+ is hard af.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My love for baking! I'm willing to teach or even just contribute dessert after dinner! Yum!
