About Me

Γεια σου! I' m Krystallia, 24 years old from Greece. I recently moved in Netherlands to pursue my Master and, of course, to explore the country!
I used CS for the first time 3 years ago, during my erasmus exchange in Italy. Me and my best friend (and travel buddy), had some unique experiences, in Sevilla, Bern, Zurich and Stuttgart, thanks to Couchsurfing.
Since then due to the pandemic I haven't really travelled around, but now, it seems to be the right time to discover new places and meet new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I firstly used CS, the way I see travelling has changed. It' s not about just visiting a city/country, but getting to know it, meeting its people, and experiencing it as locals do. CS is the perfect way to visit new places, meet new people, and live like a local.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Simply anything that sounds nice to my ears. I always enjoy learning new artists, so it would be nice if you teached me any not widely famous or local artists/bands

I seriously can't decide on my favorites!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Actually my first time on CS: I was in Sevilla with my best friend and we were staying in a hostel, when we spontaneously decided not to take our flight back, and just booked another one to extend our trip (Sevilla is really beautiful, I could stay there forever). We couldn't stay at the hostel for the rest of our nights, so my friend created a profile on CS, and we hangout with Alvaro and Lola (his lovely dog). The next day we moved in his place for the rest of our nights, and it was when we really explored Sevilla and experienced it on the best possible way! Alvaro was an amazing host and thanks to that first experience on CS we changed our way of traveling!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always open to learn anything. It's impressing how everyone has something to share with you (no matter what is it: from a simple recipe to getting to know a whole new culture and way of living).
Of course I'm open to share with you my thoughts, and teach you anything I'm capable of.
