I am grateful to my parents for giving me the space to explore the world and myself. Without their help, and the freedom to do things - which of course has to be fought for - I would not be who I am today. It is sometimes their smile that makes me enjoy life, and their words of appreciation are a great reward. I hope to live many more years in happiness and fulfillment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up for Couchsurfing in 2010 before a trip through Turkey which was a great success. The Couchsurfing community is very close to me.

It allows us - the participants - to get to know the local environment from the inside, and it's the best way to immerse yourself in the space you're in.

Positive surprises are welcome.
Approaching the subject philosophically, motion is life and we are containers floating in the stream of time, becoming aware of some things to forget others. Today, I sometimes feel that after overthinking life in my youth, I could have gained more by emerging from my outer nature instead of my inner thoughts.

It's been a while since I graduated from college with two engineering degrees, so it's no surprise that something I love to do is learn - whether it's learning a new skill, way of life, language (or a combination of all three!).

I have a history of putting myself outside of my comfort zone, and sometimes being able to do a few gap months in my life, I seek out adventures and new experiences that we don't usually have access to during our careers. I'm not afraid of challenges, I rise to the occasion, and I love to grow to be a valuable member of the team and make the most of my skills,

In terms of what kind of experiences I'm looking for, I'm particularly interested in nature, human walking path of sustainability, proper engineering, and how we can better implement a green lifestyle - at least for those who believe.

Interests

I enjoy books, spotify music, and boating. Getting outside to get to nature.

Spending time in nature, sometimes laying down in a meadow and smoking grass, seems to be a great pleasure of life. I like to immerse myself in water and float away.
