Overview
About Me
I love to travel. I've been to about 20 countries so far and I want to keep traveling and meeting new people. My main interests in traveling is learning about another culture up close, meeting new people, and going on an adventure of some sort whether its an adventure in hiking or an adventure in discovering/enjoying new foods. I work on my computer at home so I have an ability to travel more often and work from anywhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing can be a better experience than going to hostels. I've gone through hostels mostly in my travels but I tend to meet people from other countries that way rather than the people that actually live life there. Couchsurfing, I believe, will help me to meet locals and see their way of life, that's a big reason I go to another country.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most music. I love all kinds of movies - I watch movies in the theaters a lot (action, rom com, independent, foreign, doc, animation, dramas, etc). Two old favorites are Fight Club and Moulin Rouge.
I admit that I didn't like reading very much when I was younger but then started Harry Potter and I just started reading more books as an adult, Harry Potter was the gateway :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to China and lived/worked there for a year teaching kids English. It was a pretty amazing and life changing experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I feel that maybe if a host hasn't traveled very much, I can help them see other cultures including my own. I'm half Persian as well so I have a different background from other Americans. Also I just like to interact and get to know someone, so good company.
