About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn as many things from as many people as I can.

ABOUT ME

A wanderlust who is oh-so very addicted to traveling, music, dance (salsa, tango, etc), culture, and food...mmmmm...food.

I earn a living as a designer, but when I don't work I travel a lot. I've been living in the Ivory Coast, South Africa, Switzerland, the US, the UK and presently Finland. I am of both French and Peruvian ascendance.

While traveling I've experienced so much friendliness and hospitality that I thought it was about time to give some of all this back, so I joined couchsurfing. I welcome anyone of any nationality and religion as long as they are interesting to be with and able to share a bit of their world with others.

PHILOSOPHY

Amor Fati

And

"If a problem is fixable, if a situation is such that you can do something about it, then there is no need to worry. If it's not fixable, then there is no help in worrying. There is no benefit in worrying whatsoever."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting or surfing is equally great, and many may (justly) see in CS a way of traveling low budget, or a way to get to see the places that they will never find in a guidebook.

I think however that the most amazing thing of CS is the human dimension. To share special moments, and to create links throughout the world, with people you only just met. This truly is a special gift in life.

Interests

I enjoy meeting new people who have a curiosity for life. Those who desire to break free from their corner of the Universe to see and experience a something new, again and again.

My personal interests are to explore and to wonder. This includes amongst other thing my work, strumming mu Ukulele, dancing salsa, traveling, snowboarding, fairy tales, (day)dreaming, laughter, preparing and enjoying almost anything edible, oceans, mountains.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did some volunteer work as a teacher in the BioBio region of Chile during the summer of 2010.

Saw Nelson Mandela 2 times when living in Johannesburg

Stayed 2 weeks in Medellin to take intensive salsa courses.

Travelled on top of a train carriage from Nice to Paris, and jumped off the train shortly before arriving to the train terminal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you that swimming in the ice is not that insane.

I can teach you salsa.

Love to share any cooking skills.
