ABOUT ME

I'm rather quiet and prefer to spend my time with a book, good movie or a video game. Unless I'm travelling, because then I stay out all day and try to see and do everything. Though even then I tend to stay in come evening, to recuperate before the next day.

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others as you would have them do to you.

Good things happen to good people. Usually. Sometimes horrible things happen to good people, because that's just how it is. In which case, keep calm and carry on.

Surfed some in Hong Kong and US.

Interests

Movies, books, some video games and comic books. Travelling, talking about travels with other travellers. Engaging conversations with passionate people, even on topics about which I have no clue. The conversation tends to be a little one-sided in that case, but I still enjoy it.

Books by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, James Clavell and many others. Mostly fantasy and some sci-fi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in China for a year. During that year I have travelled all over the place, taught English, learned basic Mandarin, met a lot of wonderful people and worked as an extra on the set of a Cantonese TV show. I've also bungee jumped from Macau Tower, which is supposed to be the highest bungee jump in the world.
It was fun.
