About Me
Hey all,
My name is Christopher, I originally come from Poland but I live and study in Denmark. I'm a bit of an adventure chaser. I like visiting places known for their nature, as well as hike, camp and stay outdoors.
I study Data Science in Copenhagen, and I'm currently on an exchange in South Korea for half a year. I like all things IT, I can code in a few languages; I think it makes me understand the world better. I'm not so enthusiastic about working in IT though, I would rather use my data processing knowledge in journalism. But, we will see what the future will bring.
My recent obsession is remembering my life, especially conversations with others and what it makes me think. I write a diary, which I will later try to analyse quantitatively with Data Science software.
I'm not a party person. I don't really drink (save for good wine), I don't go to clubs, I like to sleep a lot. However, I'm always happy to hang out and explore the surroundings, get food together or talk over tea ☕️ I love tea, and I drink it no matter the temperature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love listening to other people's stories. Everyone is so different and unique, you never know what you will hear. Couchsurfing is the perfect place to meet and get to know new people, especially when travelling abroad. The further you go, the more the storyline changes :)
I would like to start hosting myself in Denmark after I come back from the student exchange. I truly believe in the idea of Couchsurfing, and I would like to contribute my part. Also, when I meet other people travelling and hear about their adventures, I feel like I'm travelling myself again. I think I'm addicted at this point.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I trekked for 12 days across arctic tundra in Greenland, completely self-reliant, without contact with civilisation other than an SOS device. It was the most demanding thing I've ever done, physically and mentally.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell you my story, or stories - I have quite a lot of them. I can tell you about
• Life in Denmark
• Life in Poland
• Trekking the ACT in Greenland
• Interrailing Western and Eastern Europe
• Circumnavigating Iceland
• My recent fascination with bikepacking
...and so on
If you need pictures for a CV / passport etc., let me know. I always have a camera on me, and I can do a lot with it.
🏛️ One thing I love to learn about a new place I visit is its history. So, it's possible I will ask you if there is a history museum around.
What I Can Share with Hosts
While travelling, the thing I can share is my company. I'm very keen on doing active stuff together, be it running, hiking, cycling, or exploring the surroundings.
When I come back to Denmark and start hosting, I will share a living room in my apartment.
