ABOUT ME

I'm open-minded, positive and tolerant person. I love traveling, meeting new people, get into different cultures and enjoy the beauty of the world.
I am a happy father of 13-year old Jacob (Kuba) and 8-year old Karolina. Me and my wife Marta are trying to spend as much time as possible together with our children. Fortunately, I think we have the same passion and love to travel together. And our children are brave young backpackers, hitchhikers and couchsurfers:)
We are both working in the biotechnology company in Gdansk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During our travels we met many backpackers from different countries who told us a lot of good words about CS. Additionally we belong to a tourist club in Gdansk and we have friends there who have wonderful experiences with CS. We started our adventure with couchsurfing in 2012 in Argentina during our trip from Buenos to Lima. We loved it from the beginning. Now we can't imagine a trip without cs. It is often a key point in our travels and the people we met gave us one of the most unforgettable, joyful and lofty moments in our lives.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only great experiences with cs. Unfortunately we joined to it very late, and all our visits were with Kuba and now also Karolina - our children. We were hosted so far in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Georgia, Turkish Kurdistan, Israel, Malta, Azores Islands, Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Switzerland, Czech, Portugal, Estonia, Lithuania, Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand, France and Spain. And Karolina was born during a visit of couchsurfer from Israel in our home:)
We'd love to host you in our house in Reda, which is about 25 km from Gdynia and 50 km from Gdansk.

Interests

I'm interested in travelling and photography. I like to play sports, especially volleyball, football, table tenis, pool bilard, squash and badminton. Kuba loves playing football, table tennis and badminton. I collect beer caps.

We are a family of backpackers:) We love travelling, camping in tents on wild, long-distance orientation walking, mountain trekking, kayaking and biking.

We like playing board games, like World of disk, Carcascone, Dixit, Settlers of Catan, Agricola, Splendor.

We will be happy to share our travelling experiences with others. We can tell you something about cloning bacteria, animals and people;). And how to produce enzymes for diagnostic use. We can share our knowledge about healthy food.
