Music, Movies, and Books

>>>>Music<<<<

It is difficult for me to write what kind of music I like the most so instead I make a list of bands and I think they describe/define my music taste the best so....
....Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Korn, Led Zeppelin, John Lee Hooker, Porcupine Tree, Metallica, Pearl Jam, B.B. King, Massive Attack, Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, Louis Armstrong, Kult, The Offspring, Green Day, The Who, Free, Dave Matthews Band, Dżem, Anathema, The Doors, The Blues Brothers, Tool, Ugly Kid Joe, The Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, The Allman Brothers Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Bad Company, Queen, Tadeusz Nalepa, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Marilyn Manson, Gov't Mule, Dream Theater, Buena Vista Social Club, Illusion, Soulfly, Guns N' Roses, Joe Bonamassa, Andy McKee, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Marek Dyjak, Tenacious D, Paco De Lucia, Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin. That would be more less everything :)

>>>>Movies<<<<

I do enjoy watching movies from my childhood such as 'indiana jones', 'rambo', Rocky', 'karate kid' and 'back to the future'. I know these films are not the top ones but for me they work just fine:) and of course 'dark knight' but parts directed by Christopher Nolan only

'I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing'...so for sure I must put here jeff bridges in 'big lebowski'.

I'm a huge fan of vinnie jones as Bullet Tooth Tony in 'snatch'. Other Guy Ritchie movies for example ' Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' and 'RocknRolla' are also on my best movies list.

Quentin Tarantino and, off the top of my head, 'pulp fiction' and 'Inglourious Basterds' (great role of Christoph Waltz)

It is always pleasure to watch Jack Nicholson, so let's write down 'the shining' (Stanley Kubrick at his best times) and 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'

Other great films, in my opinion of course, are 'Trainspotting', 'Requiem for a Dream', 'Into the Wild' and great soundtrack by Eddie Vedder.

As far as documents are concerned I just have to put here 'Baraka' and 'Samsara'. A lot of scenes are simply breathtaking.

There are a lot of good movies about World War 2: 'Schindler's List', 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' and series for example 'Band Of Brothers'.

And last but not least I have to admit that I'm addicted to 'Friends' series :D and for me Ross is the best character ('we were on a break!' always makes me smile).

>>>>Books/Comics<<<<

unfortunately I don't have much spare time to spend on reading books. The only books that I read are those about concrete and steel structures...sometimes about timber structures :)
...ok and 'Lonely Planet' guides :D
so it is easier and faster for me to read/watch comics. I can recommend 'Thorgal' series (all drawings are made by polish painter Grzegorz Rosiński), 'Spawn' and 'Dragon Ball' are also quite good comics series
