About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Mission: to Travel and Live in different places around the world...get to know the people, places and culture - to study pottery and to live off grid
ABOUT ME
I'm a 3rd culture kid - grew up all over the world which was amazing, i feel very privalaged for that opportunity! I'v met loads of amazing people and seen some truely beautiful places. I'm an artist and i have the temperment, curiousity and cynicysm that goes with the territory. I love camping, trecking, and being in nature. I'm friendly, happy, open minded, kind, considerate and empathic. My friends mean a lot to me and i help them out whenever i can, linking them up with people, places and projects that might interest them.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in karma, and treat others as i'd like to be treated.
You get out of life what you put in.
Life is SHORT....So make the most of it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have no permanent address, so at the moment I can't really host, though I may be able to host a little from where I am staying now, ( see below) in an apartment I rented for a month on airbnb, but I'd need to check with the family who live above me.
I'm currently living in El Paso on La Palma, in the Canary Islands for a month, or longer. I'm working form here and am (planning to - I just arrived) exploring the island as much as I can without a car!
I'd really like to meet up with some people whilst I'm here and maybe rent a car for a couple of days too, to visit the more remote places. I want to go on adventures, and I'd certainly love to share them too!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing, have met some wonderful and very kind people in Brazil, staying with a couple for a whole 10 days in the end and also in Spain, where I visited often a few years ago..
Interests
I love being out in nature as much as possible and making things from the earth. I love long walks, trekking and camping... it is so nice to sleep under the stars and far away from buildings. I love to travel and see new places, try new foods (though I am vegan) and meet interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: I heart Huckerbees, The dark crystal, fight club, Repulsion... indie, arty and foreign films (mostly I don't remember the names of)
Music: Loads of stuff, quite eclectic like most people, but don't generally like pop music. Nick cave, Tom Waits, Bjork (older stuff) PJ Harvey (older stuff), Massive attack, Tor, more electro stuff that I can't recall the names of right now. Stuff that sounds good.
Books: Gabriel Garcia Marquez , Alice Walker, Camus, Magret Atwood, Sartre, Carl Jung... other psychology books, novels... currently reading 3 books, one about Lucid dreaming, something contemporary and Russian, and Meditations by Marcus Aurelius - it's kinda amazing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sun come up over snow covered mountains in Nepal... :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a bit of English, some Pottery, a bit of print making and sculpture.... bit of nutrition and a bit more herbal medicine, meditation and a tiny bit of photoshop.
I would like to learn more Spanish (i always end up speaking Portuguese!) and also yoga... I never seem to keep it up.
I can share - my life experiences in exchange for yours :) as well as car journeys (i'm happy to drive - I think), adventures and happy times.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Same as the above, as well as a little vegan cooking, help with cleaning or anything else they might want a hand with (within reason).
