About Me
CURRENT MISSION
explore life and all it has to offer
ABOUT ME
I fly by the seat of my pants, always. I backpacked Europe for almost 3 months in 2012, booking accommodations as I went along and bawling my eyes out when it was time to finally come home. I went back to Europe for a month in August/September 2014, best trip ever.
I worked as a camp nurse for two summers straight out east in Maine because I love kids and I love taking care of people. I speak ASL fluently because I have two deaf parents. I don't really like light beer, at all. I binge watch shows on netflix with no shame. In the past year, I got a new nursing job and I am absolutely loving it, even if it does mean that I can't travel as much as I would like to. I eat everything and am the least picky eater ever. I don't really care all that much about sports when I'm alone but in a crowd I am very good at faking it. Realistically, I shouldn't be on here meeting people because of my jam packed schedule, but if you're willing to be flexible with me I'm sure we can make something work :)
PHILOSOPHY
He offered her the world. She said she had her own.
Life is about laughing and loving each other..and good wine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have both surfed (all over europe), and hosted in my apartment in Minneapolis.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While on a two month backpacking journey around Europe, I couchsurfed a number of times. It was such a great experience to really meet a lot of new people and explore new cultures. Through my experiences, I have traveled up into the mountains, learn a different type of sign language, and even learned how to make maki.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am completely open and love listening to all types of music and movies.
I love reading and some of my favorite books that I just finished reading include The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy, Harry Potter, and I am currently working on the Game of Thrones series.
I tend to lean towards reading memoirs: and some of my favorites are: A Walk in the Woods, A Long Way Gone, My own Medicine, The Good Nurse, Running With Scissors, The Ponds of Kalambayi, and The Female Nomad
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done is started living the way I've always wanted.
Other notables..
-Backpacking around Europe for 2 months, living out of a 25lb backpack and jumping between hostels and couch surfing
-Going to mass on Easter Sunday 2012 at St. Peters Square in The Vatican City.. Absolutely amazing!
-Mountains in Slovenia- Kranska Gora. BEAUTIFUL.
-Harry Potter world in Orlando, FL. Need I say more?
-Cinque Terre- Italy, trying to find the nude beach at one of the small towns.... Had to go through a pitch black 1km long abandoned train tunnel but the beach on the other side was worth it!
-Banff National Park..., The most beautiful place in North America.
