Hi everybody! 😊 I'm Kseniia from Russia, but I live and study in Hainan, China. My major in Russia was Oriental and African Studies, and now in China it is CHINESE LANGUAGE and Literature. I'm a vegetarian and like to learn about ECOLOGY. When I was a child I was disgusted with nature, especially with animals, because, among other reasons, I'm afraid of most of them. But several years ago I changed radically. Now I'm trying step by step to understand animals (those steps are tiny, cause the fear is huge, but I'm doing my best). I also started to care a lot about environment, and would like to learn more about environment-human interrelation. But I think I was born a vegetarian, because, as long as I remember myself, I don't like and don't eat meat. I used to study DANCING, so I like to perform in concerts and competitions (to be honest, I'm not a great dancer, just miss being on stage haha), and, of course, I just can't resist when I hear music on parties or carnivals. I love traveling since childhood, and I think that any trip must turn into an adventure, otherwise, it's just pointless. This is why I like HITCHHIKING, couchsurfing and exploring. When I was hiking in Russian Altai, I got head over heels in love with MOUNTAINS. After that I hiked in Xinjiang region, Yunnan province, China, and Himalayas, Nepal. Those were the unforgetable trips with breathtaking challenges and insane beauty! I also want to try ROCK CLIMBING! And, of course, I like to learn about other CULTURES and curious about locals' life. So, if you go in for the same things as me, let's do it together and learn from each other!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm crazy about travelling and adventures! While travelling I prefer hitchhiking to taking a bus, living at locals' homes to being all alone in hotels, making friends to paying to guides, participating in local life to commercial sightseeing. And I believe that sleeping on somebody's couch is one of the best (and maybe the craziest😜) ways to find a good friend. Let's travel together and make this world even "smaller" and friendlier than it is! Btw, I speak Russian, Chinese and English, so we could practice languages together too😉
