About Me

I am an adventure loving New Zealander/Russian who has just moved to Germany to do my masters degree in Cardiovascular science! I really love to travel and am constantly chasing new experiences, so you can count on some deep conversations if we ever cross paths. I'm also pretty obsessed with animals, so any household pets will get infinite cuddles. My kiwi accent might be a bit hard to understand, but that's nothing a glass of red or cup of tea can't fix!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to discover a place is to hang with the locals, so why not some old fashion, face-to-face interaction? From my hitch hiking adventures I can say that the people that invite you into their car (or home) are also the ones that have the coolest stories to share, and you end up with a connection for life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to and appreciate most music genres but my favourites are EDM, synth pop, and R&B/Hip-Hop. Think EDEN, The 1975, Billie Eilish, Blackbear.

I love independent films, usually about travelling the world, or movies in foreign languages. I'm also not opposed to a scary movie now and again.

When I do find time to read, it's usually a classic, although the Game of Thrones series is also on the list. I'm currently trying to read more work by V. Nabokov.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sung live in front of an audience on the steps overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

A HUGE Maori Wrasse gave my hand a nose boop while I was scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My talents are pretty sparse, but if you're keen to learn a few Russian or Maori words I am your gal! I also make a pretty epic berry crumble.

I am always down for learning new things! In particular I'm keen to try some fire spinning, and in general the quirks of the local culture.

I love to cook with others, so feel free to share a recipe with me. I also enjoy singing, so if you grab a guitar I can provide some more-or-less in tune notes into the mix.
