About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Ksenia and I'm from Ukraine. I work as an prepress engineer, which combines creative and technical sides. Sometimes you need to make instant inventive decisions, sometimes you should strictly comply technical rules and sometimes you let yourself to be creative. I like how extremes meet here. Be sure, I am responsible, calm and friendly. I like meeting new people all around the world and learning more about different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. All the time I am trying to find the freedom inside. I think that every person has to live the way he feels. We live to discover, to learn something new every single day, to become better and stronger.
What does not kill us makes us stronger.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A lot of my friends are traveling with CS and I've decided to try it too.

Interests

I like traveling, cinematography, rock music, tv series, board games, I used to dance in a Ukrainian folk collective. My recent passion is quests with an escape room experience. Being locked in a room, when you need to find a way to get out, makes you rely on your attentiveness, logic and sometimes out-of-the-box thinking. You should cooperate with your teammates and solve tasks, puzzles and riddles together. This kind of activity is very challenging and I appreciate the adrenaline and joy it gives me.
Also I'm interested in web design, lettering design and UI/UX.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling is such a valuable learning experience. Meeting absolutely different kinds of people from different places with different stories makes you learn through their lives and perspectives, it helps to understand that there are no boundaries in a world and in ourselves. I've visited lots of European countries, also Canada and USA. And it truly changed me and opened my mind. Traveling around the world greatly helps to experience new and overthink old. I would call it an amazing thing.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, England, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, United States
