About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore what this world has to offer before it goes or I do.

ABOUT ME

Couch surfer turned host, turned couch surfer. I started couch surfing on a trip through Eastern Europe in 2011 and loved it.

When I am not traveling I am producing documentaries (mostly environmental and aviation docs), enjoying the outdoors, and/or playing some sort of sport.

I have had 21+ jobs over the years but my favorite job was easily working as a rock climbing instructor at my local climbing gym.

If I am available I am happy to help any way I can.

PHILOSOPHY

"If riding in an airplane is flying, then riding in a boat is swimming. If you want to experience the element get out of the vehicle."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed, I have hosted, and I have come to love this way of travel!
Having an instant contact in a foreign city is a feeling like no other. I can't imagine staying in a hostel again.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could talk about documentaries all day but I usually don't for other people's sake.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently got back from shooting a documentary in Uganda, I was there for 6 weeks - on safari for 5 weeks straight- and that experience just moved all others down a few pegs!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share experiences, stories, drinks, pictures, etc. I'm open to most expereinces so let's learn something new together!
