Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Broaden my view of the world.
ABOUT ME
I enjoy being outside and active, if I'm free I am always up for practically any and all sports or outdoor activities.
I love to meet new people, especially international people. Hanging out, hearing stories and perspectives with people traveling.
Sports, hiking, the park, art galleries, music, movies, arcade bars, good food, or just hanging out along the beach, sign me up.
PHILOSOPHY
"Imagine others complexly" - John Green
Most of the world is full of good people, nobody does anything 'bad' for the sake of doing something 'bad', everyone has their reasons, everyone has a situation that they try to live through.
”We are more alike my friends, than we are unalike." - Maya Angelou
”Not all those who wander are lost." - J.R.R. Tolkien
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been away from couchsurfing for quite a while but I'm looking to meet up with people in Tokyo and help out if anyone visiting needs help or a place to crash.(maybe as a last resort because as of now I can only offer a couch or hammock with a blanket..)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Still relatively new, last stayed with a really hospitable person in Athens, Greece. I hope to be at least half as hospitable as she was for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Grew up on Studio Ghibli Hayao Miyazaki movies, can't get enough of them.
Getting into the 'realistic' sci-fi stuff lately as well. Martian, Instersteller, love that stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not Christian, but I happened to be in Rome to see 3.5 million people gather in the Vatican to see the first blessing of Pope Francis.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Japanese, English, and some easy photography tips.
I think of myself as being reasonably resourceful. Pretty good at fixing stuff. Also pretty good with computers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can connect people to a pretty wide network of expats in tokyo while at the same time I can show people around the parts of tokyo not as easy to find without having lived here.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Vatican City State
Countries I’ve Lived In
France, Japan, Singapore, United States
