About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm trying to figure out a way to live in the smallest space possible & still live a life filled with joy.
ABOUT ME
I'm currently living on the East coast after a few years of traveling around the midwest and West. I'm living in a funky co-op house with three wonderful housemates and my sweet sweet pup, Yuba (named after the Yuba River in NorCal). I work at a K-8 quaker school in Maryland and spend almost every weekend hiking with Yuba. I love to bake bread, make garlic soup, research camping gear, and learn building skills.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to surf and host! If you're just traveling through, stop in for a cuppa or a place at the table for dinner. If you need a place to hang your hat, reach out!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have a hospitable spirit and love gathering folks in my home. I've hosted old friends and soon-to-be friends rather infrequently but with great joy.
Interests
I like to practice natural building, radical simplicity, and gardening. I love to farm, backpack, hike, kayak, bake bread, ferment things, hammock, and bike. My dog takes up 97% of my thoughts and my catchphrase sounds something like: "can I bring Yuba?". She was rescued in June 2017 and is often the very best part of my days.
