i'm a photographer and television commercial editor, perpetual student and world traveler. i just got back from a yearlong backpacking trip across the world and am already planning the next. i'm up for any kind of adventure and am wholly convinced that everything always works out as it should.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've hosted in new york and have surfed all over the world. i've met some of the most awesome people i know through couch surfing, been welcomed into people's homes and daily lives without hesitation and have loved every minute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think - at least I hope - that I'm doing this 'one amazing thing' right now. I was working a job I didn't enjoy where I'd been for nearly 8 years after finishing college, decided I wanted to make the world a better place, and thought that before I had the right to start changing things or even deciding how to go about this, I figured I ought to first see as much of it as possible to try and understand. So just like that I quit. I gave away / lent out / donated most of my things, the remaining "important" possessions i put in a friend's basement. And here I am. Travelling until further notice, armed with a backpack and my camera.
