Hello I'm Katie!
(But some call me 'Bodha'. That was the name that I was given when I lived in an ashram in Australia - maybe I can share this story with you!)

I have previously used couchsurfing when I traveled alone in New Zealand and was looking to soak up all the experience and local wisdom I could find :)
WHO AM I? Well I'm an open-minded, vegetarian, travelling faerie!
I am currently working for Friends of the Earth Europe in their economic justice department, after graduating with a first class degree in International Relations and Economics!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing as I love PEOPLE, in every shade, size and age. I'm keen to meet interesting people, hear their life stories, and share mine.

Interests

I love documentaries, reading, yoga, travel and nature. I enjoy being outdoors, enjoying rich good food of the world, learning things, drinking beer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. Lots of travel. Hitchiked through Oz + New Zealand. Volunteered in Morocco. I've studied in the UK, Prague and Melbourne. I lived in a meditation ashram for two months. Heaps !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Ample stories of my youth, both entertaining and ridiculous. Good conversation, good manners, and of course the prospect of me cooking dinner for you and sharing a beer,
