Hi! My name is Katy and I am currently living full time on the road - I sold my van and am waiting to find the perfect new camper van. I am hoping Couchsurfing will help me as I continue to travel until I 'settle down' somewhere.

I love to play... I have a strong appreciation for lakes, mountains, trees and trails. I don't drink or smoke and my home is smoke/pet free. I am a school teacher by trade, I love children and previously worked in healthcare for the past 10 years.

Because it just makes sense! I've loved hosting when I could and as I am now in a very transitionary phase of my life, I am so grateful for the opportunity for beds to sleep in, and people to connect with.

Interessen

Riding my bike, yoga, waterslides with my niece, hiking, snowboarding, vegan food, and gardening .... Being outside, in lakes or on trails, taking photos, adventuring and connecting with others is what lights me up.
I love exploring and especially meeting new people and hearing their stories.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I raised my niece when she was a toddler. And am still the only mother-like role in her life. I personally believe that potty training is an amazing feat!
I have climbed a few mountains, dove in a few seas, earned my kite boarding certificate and had some pretty wonderful, and not so wonderful experiences thus far that contribute to my overwhelming feeling of gratefulness for this life.
