My name is KT which is short for Kim Tien in Vietnamese. I am currently a software developer at a tech company based in Kelowna, BC.
I was born and raised in Vietnam, then I moved to Singapore for high school and I am now in Canada. I am passionate about travelling as I love to explore new cultures, meet new people and learn new languages. I managed to learn Spanish in high school and continue learning it while in university. I also started learning French a few months ago and look forward to learning more languages while travelling.
I am very into outdoors activities such as hiking, camping, rock/ice climbing and skiing. I love to volunteer and I particularly love to get involved with activities that help children or animals.
I love reading books, anything classics or fictional.
I did learn how to play the piano, violin and clarinet while in high school but ever since I graduated, I stopped playing those. However, I am learning the guitar now so I finally get to pick up some music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having a full time job has partly made it more challenging for me to travel more often so couchsurfing is a great opportunity for me to meet people from all over the world.
I am always open to making new friends and going on adventures :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have backpacked in Thailand for 10 days (it's not enough I know ) which was amazing and wish I had spent more time there.
