ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, friendly 23 yr old. I like to move around and experience new things. I am very gullible and mix up sayings... I grew up with a parent on a farm in Iowa and one in a city, so I am a country and city girl. I ride horses and love all animals. I am a graphic designer and have a slight addiction to hats.

Also, my backyard has a volleyball net in it, a tether ball pole and a spot to play four square, its like recess back there!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't yet surfed, but I know a handful of good friends and family members who have and they swear by it. I am looking to host in the meantime, until I can travel a bit and meet some new people in a different city.

Interessi

I prefer to spend time outdoors, unless its 110 degrees, I love the cold! LOVE IT! I spend most of my time with my dog, he comes with me as much as he can. I hike a decent amount and ride horses about 4 times a week. I thrift a lot and cannot not buy a steamer trunk if I find one. I like to plant gardens, but landscaping is something that is new to me. I just moved into my new house a month ago and am excited to do house projects. I may have a tent set up in my backyard. And I have a really neat big dog that I refer to as my German Wolfski (Grey Wolf, German Shepard & Husky), his name is Ranger.

Not to mention, I love to travel! I am on here since I am going to be staying put for a year or so, I figured why not still met new people from all over the world!

I live a healthy lifestyle. I eat mainly veggies and love to cook. Yoga is incredibly relaxing for me. I try to go on bike rides weekly. I enjoy hosting cocktail parties and board game nights. I drink bourbon and wine. And going out to a bar and listening to live music is amazing.

Finally, I love the taste of coffee and can drink it at anytime of the day.

Musica, film e libri

I like movies that make you think, ones that portray history accurately, and a good comedy is always appreciated.

I listen to all kinds of music, if you've been to Paonia, CO you will understand why. Also living in Music City, USA, having an open mind can lead to great evenings.

As for books, I am starting to read more now that I live on my own and have more time to spend on it. So far I have been enjoying some Cormac McCarthy, bargain buys at Barnes & Noble and my favorites are turn of the century ethics books.

Sitting on the stone bridge in Kenmore, Scotland looking out to Loch Tay, back in 05' changed me. I can't explain how, it just did.

How to rope (as in lasso/cowboying)
Basic Horse Knowledge: No riding though, insurance reasoning

How to mess up known sayings... I'm quite good at that.

I love learning phrases in other languages.
Learning interesting facts and knowledge about other cultures and countries.
