ABOUT ME

I've recently come home form 17 months living, working and traveling overseas in the UK and Europe. Just settling in to my boyfriends unit and working out if and how I could still participate in cs.

PHILOSOPHY

It'll sound hippy, but I believe in Karma, what you put out there comes back to you three fold. So I do my best to only put out positive vibes and grasp opportunities with both hands.

It's taken me a long time to get to where I am and I'm not about to sit around being miserable or bored. I'm young enough to travel and enjoy my life while hopefully brightening the lives of those people I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Friends recommended Couch Surfing to me and the concept is very exciting. I'd much rather meet some locals and have people to discuss my travels with, sometimes you find it in hostels, sometimes you don't.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I Couch Surfed in New York and Washington DC in 2009 and had a great time with my hosts. I came home and convinced my housemates to let me have couch surfers and we had a few through, but once the house filled up with housemates, we had less room and capacity for CSers.
I surfed a lot in UK and Europe in 2012 and 2013 and have met a number of lovely and generous hosts, it really reminded me how wonderful this network is!

Interests

Art, singing, dancing, burlesque, cabaret, stand up comedy, theatre, jazz, photography, drawing, walking, exploring, shopping, events, festivals, celebrations, Medieval Europe, 1920's - 40's
Living life and all of the experiences it has to offer is currently what interests me - sorry if that sounds all new age!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of fantasy but not the sci-fi end of the scale so much. I love musicals and own many on DVD, but I try hard not to sing along if I'm watching it with someone.

Well, I can teach you to juggle 3 balls if you're keen.
I can tell you all about the parts of Australia I have lived in. And I'm an events coordinator so if you need to figure out logistics or want to plan a party - I'm your gal.
