PHILOSOPHY

I know it sounds corny, but I try to follow the golden rule, with people & critters. Age is a matter of what you do, want to do, act, etc - not chronological age. Playing, interacting with animal friends is much cheaper than a psychologist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking forward to hosting both people & critters. Of course I hope to visit others around the world. I understand there are local activities to participate in as will.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a member of Hospitality Club & have both hosted visitors and stayed with others in Kentucky and France. I've just returned from Morocco where we stayed with Couch Surfers in Merzouga and Essaouira. Definitely the best way to travel!

Let's see - Anything to do with critters - ferrets, cats, dogs, horses, reptiles, birds, ..... I'm addicted to listening to audio books. Flying - Stearmans. Hiking, Vegging & watching America's Next Top Model, Dog Town, HGTV, mysteries.

Had two military tours in Iraq - worked with Army, Air Force personnel and studied local culture.
Worked in Germany, rehabbing centuries old buildings
Worked in Hawaii, building cabins on Helmano Plantation, swam with wild dolphins, hiked on relatively new lava beds
