I love going on adventures wether it be just a walk around town, riding bikes or taking day trips to the beach. Basically I can enjoy the outdoors rain or shine.

PHILOSOPHY

To be as open as possible and open to growth. We are human, we are full of different complex emotions and we shouldn't feel the need to hide that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've never couch surfed but I'm really interested in trying it myself and finding out what this has to offer from both host and surfer perspectives.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I know people who participate in this which has sparked my interest in really knowing more about the whole couch surfing community. I have stayed in shared spaces via AirBnb and hostels and both experiences were super positive so I want to keep the good karma flowing and hopefully produce some positive experiences here.

Interests

I like to kayak, bike, wander aimlessly and enjoy the outdoors whenever possible. I am I video editor and aspiring photographer. I don't drink often these days but I do like a good beer. I want to learn to salsa dance, get open water certified and someday hike the John Muir Trail. And see the whole world, duh.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh I love lots of different types of music! Led Zeppelin, the Clash, Misfists, Nirvana, 2pac, UGK, Bun B, Miranda Lambert, Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash, Modest Mouse, Portugal the Man, Clean Bandit, Grimes... you know, stuff like that.

At the moment I'm finishing a book by Louise Hay, a travel book by Jan Morris and Flowers for Algernon because why not? I always find myself reading snippets of Mark Twain. I also like reading poetry from Bukowski and Sylvia Plath.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I ever went to the Guadalupe river and the first time I ever saw a mountain were both very incredible experiences for me because for both trips I arrived at night so I couldn't see anything at all. It wasn't until I awoke the next morning to find the most stunning views this lady has ever seen. It was absolutely jaw dropping.

I can certainly teach everyone something but it depends on what that might be!
I'm like a sponge, always absorbing information anyway I can. Teach me any and everything possible.
