Hi! I'm Robert, a British-Hungarian guy living in London. An enthusiastic musician and also an IT engineer (yeah, have to pay off my bills). I've joined to the community among the first early birds and visited many countries since where usually found a kind host. But now I'm a homeowner, so try to give back to the community by hosting travelers. ABOUT ME

I'm open minded (but down to earth) and always interested in getting to know new people, great and unique souls.
I'm a blues/funk musician, I have lot's friends all around the world. In my daily life I've been a teacher for a while and currently I'm a senior web developer where I've to learn all time new technologies and technics. But after the daily job I just start playing music in the SOHO that is the biggest Las Vegas-like part of London. My friends keep me a happy person who has a lot of stories.
I'm in love with the whole world, like to see what happens in the nature and sometimes I just lose my sense of time while watching a beautiful masterpiece of Art. Yes, art is over all. :) I'm also interested in the history, really good to understand how this world has this current structure formed. It's like playing puzzle: every island connects to each other and the final result is a big picture. For this reason I just traveled everywhere where I wanted to see / understand something about being human, being civilized, etc.

I traveled through whole Europe using this system (such us Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Sweden, Canarias, etc,)

I really like the blues, funky, jazz, but I'm also friend of any type of music.
I respect B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin because of their heritage.

Now I'm reading a really rare piece about the real history of the blues that is just amazing! I like to read books about history, adventures. My fav writer is the great P. Howard aka Rejtő Jenő, the Hungarian genius.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I've played great gigs on music festivals with great musicians. I'm so lucky for having friendship with those masters. I think my life is almost perfect, impacted by the amazing people around me
- worked in the Formula 1 for a whole season
- I can repair almost everything, really
- I visited almost all European countries by bicycle
- done some fun as a street performer in London
- lived in Istanbul near of the Bosphorus
- lived in a Disneyland-like funpark for 6 months
- kept presentation on my researches on an international science conference
- I was a street musician in some European cities and traveled as a hitchhiker
- I lived a short time on Tenerife in a tent next to the ocean without any comfort (yeah, it was great time of my life),
- as musician I play a lot in SOHO / London
- I've been a teacher in a secondary school for 2.5 years and really liked to be
- once shared the stage with the singer of Boney M
- etc.
