ABOUT ME

My name is Katie and I'm from San Diego, California. I live and go to school in San Francisco, California and believe it is one of the coolest cities in the world. Currently I live in Bilbao, Spain and I love it here. To the average tourist, this city is not too exciting, but you can only discover the greatness of Bilbao by living here. So by being from San Diego, that makes me a beach girl. I love the ocean. Mexican and Thai food are my favorite cuisines. I'm a very sarcastic person so if you understand the language of sarcasm then we will get along very well. I quote movie lines like its my life, I love to laugh (who doesnt?) and to travel and see the different cultures and history in the world. Overall, I'm a very easy-going and chill person.

PHILOSOPHY

One of my favorite quotes is "The challenge is to be yourself in a world that tries to make you like everyone else". So I guess my philosophy is to be yourself and embrace it now matter who what means. There are 6 billion people on this earth, guaranteed you will find someone who likes you for who you are.

Well right now couchsurfing is a great way for me to take advantage of travelling and meet new people. Because I am living in Bilbao and do not have my own place, I cannot offer a couch, but I am very willing to make connections and meet people from all over the world.
