ABOUT ME

I have just moved to Buenos Aires through work. I am a teacher working in International schools around the world for the last, well nearly a decade. Love to travel and see new places. I would say I am reasonably easy going and I like new people to share old and new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

To enjoy where i am and who i am with while I am there and worry about the future later.

A smile is a gently curved line that puts alot of things straight! - there, that's quite philisophical eh!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Will host people - up to about 3/4 people - work gave me a big apartment so it needs filling - otherwise would love to meet any locals in BA, male or female - to get the local perspective and perhaps learn some Spanish!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a good experience staying with a lovely lady in Hawaii - so decided to let people stay and return the favour to the backpaker community.
Had 3 lads stay with me in BKK and then 2 ladies! recently a couple
They generally came out with me and my friends and did there own thing too

Football, Hiking, Squash, Photography, Travel, Learning languages (currently trying to master Spanish or Portuñol), meeting new and interesting people (and everybody is interesting if you dig deep enough)

Done lots of travel and seen many amazing sights and met plenty of good people along the way! Although Antarctica recently was a notable highlight! Next major port of call will be Africa, although I have briefly visited I would like to explore the continent in depth for a good look around the 7th before hanging up my backpack!

I'd love to learn Spanish or Portugese
Also I need to learn German properly for a job I may take up next year.
Oh and I am a Earth Sciences / Geography teacher so happy to share my humble knowledge and learn the details of some of the countries I teach about from an inside angle.
