About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the best nachos in the world!
ABOUT ME
I'm a runner, beer drinker and a generally happy person. I like to travel where the wind takes me and explore roads off the beaten path. I live in the moment and thrive off of exploration and passion all around me. I finally have a couch to offer and would like to host anyone coming through this small part of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love it! I've done more surfing than hosting, but hope to even it out with my new living situation! I started in 2008 on an around the world trip with friends, picked it up again in 2014 for a road trip across North America, and spent 3 months meeting incredible people across western and central Europe.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've gotten locked IN an apartment in NYC, been given walking tours of Barcelona and the Calatonian history and made some great, long-term friends in Perth, Australia. In Canada, I went to a local indoor water park in winter and played pool with the uni students. Ate real Alaksan sourdough in Tok! Learned the secret history of Napoli and their mafia. Met friendly cats in Istanbul and Brussels. Drank friendly beer in Munich, and the list goes on...

Music, Movies, and Books
Bluegrass, or elbow dancing music. Almost anything live, just to see the passion. Movies are good, but hard to rememeber.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While in the jungles of northern Tailand, I had a fresh noodle lunch made and served from only bamboo, banana leaves and a machete.
I have also started participating in workaway.info with my boyfriend while in Europe. It's an incredible resource connecting volunteerers/travelers with families that need some extra help. We worked on a bio-dynamic farm in Sicily with a spiritual family that taught us so much. Also a creative family in small town Bavaria - it's really reaffirmed our belief in good people all around this world. We helped build a straw bale home in the hills of Slovakia, and did lots of manual labor outside of Vienna. Such a positive way to travel and share!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing stories and learning about people from all over this world! I'd like to learn more about your local town and what makes you tick. We could share a meal together, or have a nice discussion over a drink. Any Spanish tips for my upcoming trip to Mexico would be greatly appreciated, too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Smiles and laughter!
