ABOUT ME

It has to be said - I’m pretty obsessed with Architecture, design philosophy, understanding the way different people choose to live and why.

Apart from that...I’m friendly, small, talkative, relaxed, and just keen to meet new people! Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a good cynical, yet comical, rant from time to time, but generally try to keep a pretty positive outlook on life.

I've moved around a bit the last ten years - grew up in Central QLD, studied in Brisbane, lived in Scotland, Belfast, traveled around Europe, India, America, Japan, South Africa, Indonesia etc. moved to Adelaide and now Darwin - the tropics! Working as an Architect/Creative Producer :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have recently had quite a few people staying with me - 4 for 10 days and 1 for a week. I have also played host to over 20 people since moving to Darwin! That's just friends visiting! It's been a bit hectic but I do enjoy it.

All the surfers were lovely guests and for the time they were here we were operating like a little family. I loved coming home from work to cook together and just generally hang out. I also really enjoyed just showing them the places they would not have found while staying at a backpackers.

Architecture, photography, dancing, traveling, beer, cheese etc.

I know everyone says this, but I really am open to anything - I say this more in reference to social activities as opposed to physical....I'm not so coordinated, but I'd like to think I'd give it a go!

Look, honestly.....I'm not a great cook, so forget that!

But I'm told I'm great at listening and giving very unbiased advice, which people don't always love, but find helpful. I'm particularly good at relationship advice apparently! (relationship doesn't mean in a romantic way necessarily by the way - why does everyone always seem to think of that?!)

I can also give you some architectural advice! From designing your new house to helping you work out where to hang a picture of a your Grandma.
