ABOUT ME

I am an extremely passionate person. I love to read and learn and do. I am a fairly well travelled dude who appreciates connecting with open-minded people from other cultures and sharing experience and life stories. And, i love to cook, so I make a great guest/host! I am working as Executive chef at a restaurant in Schaffhausen, and just enjoying the life here to the fullest whenever possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Love and respect yourself, otherwise you can not truly do either of those things for anyone else.

I believe that at their core, every human knows what is right.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting out with CS, i am an american, but my wife is swiss and we live in Switzerland, and are happy to host up to two people at a time (we have a small flat)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many, but not through CS, just doing it the way it was done before the internet :) my best freind has hosted and been hosted all over the word, and it sounds awesome, why has it taken me so long?

Interests

Traveling! Cooking and eating/drinking, martial arts, beatmaking and making music with random stuff, outdoor sport of all kinds, even frisbee! Meeting new people from other places and showing them a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mAkE beats and other kinds of music, if anybody makes music or raps or sings we can do that. i just love good music, as long as it has soul and gives me goosebumps it doesnt matter what kind. I do not watch tv at all or do any gaming really, but a little ps or xbox wont kill me if its a rainy day, but i own neither. Movies are cool too, I own very few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent thing would be, having the honor of being the first student at the Wudang San Feng Pai (kung fu academy) a traditional taoist school in Wudang, China. Look up master Zhong Yun Long and you might see why it was so crazy to be one of a handful of first students of that school. I trained there for four months, i have never worked so hard at anything in my life in such a short time. Going back this march for one month (way too short but I am going anyway!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have found that some of the most pure wisdom, comes out of the mouths of children, drfters, beggars and people who generally don't live for the status quo. Children, dont even know what that is, until we teach it to them OR not. Everybody says that they (the children) are the future, so why then do we teach them to maintain the status quo?
