Hi, I am Jazlyn who come from Hong Kong. I am a cheerful, friendly, openminded and easygoing girl with lots of curiosity. I am taking a one-year gap in France via my working Holiday Visa. After my graduation, I became a social worker and serve children (both Chinese and non-Chinese) and their families.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had my first wonderful CS experience during my busking trip in Europe (Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Krakow) with a group of friends in the summer of 2014.That’s also my first time to travel to Europe.

I treasure the CS experience to meet genuine and open people from all culture and background! The world is so wonderful because of its diversity of people and make life with unlimited possibility.

Travelling is not about travel itself but more about the people you meet. Everyone comes across your life with certain reason and there are always somethings you can learn from them. I am exciting to exchange culture, hear different life stories from people and gain enlightenment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First Busking experience
I had a 1 month busking experience with a group of friends performing A'ccapelle on street. I had sole ukulele performance yet I was just a very beginner at that moment. I was so panic and proud that I did it and gain appreciation from the people. A group of TV Crews filmed our trip to be a 4 episodes TV Programs.

Tree-climbing:
My first time to climb a tree in Hong Kong for almost 4 m height. I felt so amazing to be so close to the nature and hear the unique heart beat from the tree.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to
-Learn French in order to have deeper understanding of French culture and be … during my year in France
-have a sustainable and eco-friendly life style. Be conscious of the influence of my every small behavior to the earth
-try to cook different Vegetarian dishes
