About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Open to the world of possibilities, even if it's connecting with local surfers, surfers passing through or surfers from other areas who want to gain insights to the area I live. I'm active in the Palm Beach County area and can be a guide for visitors.
ABOUT ME
The simple answer: I am soul.
Love and Life is good . . . .
The pinda answer: My job status has changed from self employed to the full time installation manager for a wood working and cabinet company. I've got a significant background in construction but have fine tuned my skills to enjoy the process of putting the pieces of the puzzle (a kitchen for instance) together and turning the parts into a completed project.
For the past seven years I've lived a rather nomadic lifestyle. This is evident in the fact I've lived in 10 places in that time frame. What I've learned from this experience is that having "things" like a home and all the possessions that fill it, is a constraint to the lifestyle I choose to live. Instead of spending a high percentage of my income on a home I'd prefer to use those resources to travel, experience other cultures and making new friends. It's interesting that I've also come up with a concept of my own that by doing this I'll have more opportunities to burn off karma. WHo knows?
I'm the middle child in a family of five children. Mom passed away in 2002 and Dad, at 85 is still working. At times my family was scattered around the globe but we've all been stateside for many years now. We connect with each other on a regular basis while we're not "involved" in each other's lives.
I've lived in three states and two countries. In the US: New Jersey, Texas and Florida. Outside the US: St Croix in the USVI. I've visited all but 6 states in the US. While in the Virgin Islands I traveled to many countries in the Caribbean. I've been to Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, France, Greece and Canada. Some places I'd like to travel in include the Isle of Mann (family heritage), more of europe and to explore the tropical areas of Australia.
I was recruited to become the Master Integrator for a start up company that is close to completing the development of a solution we believe has the potential of becoming the global industry standard for 3D production. Within the month of January 2010 we will manufacture the first working model which will be tested by an independent production crew in Canada. If this works we're well positioned with investors to go into production, training and distribution. This will be my passport to global travel while getting paid to do it. A great combination!
PHILOSOPHY
Do unto others . . . . I always have a choice . . . . cause and effect . . . . I am soul having a human experience . . . . attention is an aspect of soul . . . . Spirit uses whatever choices we make to bring us the experiences needed to grow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Because I just became a member of the CS project I'm not totally familiar with how to be involved. The first thing I was reminded to do was complete this profile so that's how I'm participating at this time. Stay tuned as the relationship develops . . .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I has a most unusual experience while living on the north coast of St Criox, over Cane Bay. I was care taking a Japanese style house with no exterior walls. At 3 am one morning I woke from a sound sleep and was drawn to the north side of the house. The ocean was calm and the sky was clear enough to see the lights of St Thomas (35 miles away). The moon was full and had recently come up over the hill behind the house. To the east I could see a squall charging along the coast to the west. I remained on the rail of the balcony as the moon disappeared behind the storm and a heavy rain swept by. After only 5 minutes the rain eased to a mist, the dark cloud passed and the moon came back in it's full glory. As I watched this storm continue it's trek towards the rain forest I noticed an unusual formation. As I watched in wonder as a rainbow started to form that went from the side of the hill into a high arch, splashing into the ocean in full color. I thought of going for my camera but quickly realized I would miss the real time experience so I stayed. With glee in my heart and an awesome respect for nature's way I watched this single rainbow grow into a full double rainbow that followed the storm along the coast as far as I could see. I've affectionatly named this experience as having seen a "MoonBow". What a blessing!
