About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Buy a Kawasaki KLR650, drive around North America

ABOUT ME

I am a weird computer scientist and a weird tutor in some sense.

Academically, I enjoy history, literature and other humanility studies almost as I enjoy computer programming. While I like the precision and elegance of Mathematics, I also embrace the complexity of human nature.

Socially, I love hanging out with people. I am that type who travels alone and comes back with a bunch of memories, Facebook friends, and telephone numbers.

As a Computer Science tutor, I find myself talking a lot about History, Politics, and even act as a psychiatrist sometime during my job. My students are literally everybody from the campus. Aged 17-39, major in Math, business, physics, etc.

Variety, man, that's the juice of life!

PHILOSOPHY

My first name bears the meaning of "Wilderness" in Chinese. I interpret it as to explore, to taste different things, to find what I truly love. After travelling a lot, writing a lot of journals of thoughts, I gained a better understanding of my skills, where my passion lies in. It is complicated and I still cannot define who I truly am. But I am getting there though.

I study one of the most challenging majors, hope to find a high-paid job, fulfill my dream of being financially free. So that the girl I love can travel with me carefreely around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Irish traditional music is my favorite, country music.

Movies would be Action, Sci-fi, High IQ stuff.

Books would be Personal inspirational books, love reading when I am on a train, plane, etc. Reading a book called "The road less travelled", and the novel 1984

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climb the cliff in University of British Columbia Beach.
Sing with a room-full of drunk Irish in an Irish pub at the sweet county Clare

Teach, Learn, Share

My dad is an English teacher, my mom is a historian, and I study Computer Science. I have knowledge in both science and humanities, feel free to strike me with hard questions, we could either google it through or talk it out.

I do want to learn how to cook some bachelor food these days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would say I am an kinda outgoing nerd, who knows a lot different stuff, prefer solitude, in-depth conversation rather than party with bunch of people.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ireland

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, United Kingdom
