About Me

My name is David. Born in south-east of China(Wenzhou). Study undergraduate degree in Beijing and Master in Taiwan. Worked in Shanghai for 3 years and now working at Nanjing.
Sometimes I'm a little depressed, but most of the time I'm quiet outgoing. I like outdoor sport very much. Cycling for 4 years during my undergraduate study.
I play a little guitar, learned for half year but quit at last, now still play chords alone (can't solo).
I love extreme sports, but don't have many chances to try, up to now only tried bungee jump and surfing.
During the time study in Taiwan, I learned cooking, all of my friend like my culinary skill.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meet new friend very much. When I was a college student in Beijing, I often join english corner, meet old and new friends. As a result, my oral english is not bad, and it's really can make a person feel fantastic if you can speak another language to express your thingking freely. When I study in taiwan, there are many foreigners in our lab, I get along with them and help them a lot.

Interests

Amost every sport. I spent more than 2 hours every day for playing in the stream every summer, so automatically I can swim, at all of four styles. Like most Chinese, I'm good at ping-pong, played ping-pong every day when I was a secondary school student. In my high school, I also often play volleyball or basketball. Besides, my badminton, tennis, roller skating are also not bad. But, if I can restart with my life again, I would like to learn parkour.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like sing songs, but not listen very much.
I like some stars, but not fans.
Some day after I wake up but still wanna lay for a moment, I'll open one app in my cellphone can listen a random song.
Movies: don't like american hero action movies like Furious. like either funny series like Friends or some drama film like Blood Diamond.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a college student in Beijing, I join the Cycling Association and play with them for four years. In the summer holiday after my first year in Beijing, I rided bicycle from Beijing to Qinhai lake with other four guys. lasted for 20 days.
At that time, long-distance cycling is still not so popular, it made me feel cool and exciting. Nowadays, their is cyclist everywhere, it even crowded with too many cyclist on the way to Tibet in the summer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you chinese or how to make some basic chinese food.
I can teach you how to swim, once one of my friend learned how to swim in half day with my help. (But just dog-style).
It's great to share experience with other people, like how I chase my gf. How I get defrauded in Berlin.
It's even greater to hear other people sharing this stuffs.
